Roadmap

This page records what WingGate currently delivers. Features are added to this page after they are shipped and covered by the source and tests; there is no fixed release cadence and no service-level commitment, so nothing here is a delivery promise.

Shipped

These capabilities are delivered and covered by the source and tests today.

• Web Console for Organizations, Projects, assets, connection profiles, connectors, members and audit.
• Web Terminal and SSH client entry sharing one Session, grant and audit boundary.
• File access: zero-install SFTP on SSH / host assets, native-protocol reads and writes on SMB / WebDAV / S3 file backends (the same nine file tools), plus Runner-only typed search (file.find / file.grep) on SSH / host.
• MCP tool surface over Streamable HTTP on the connector, with fixed tool groups.
• Teams: fixed Owner/Admin/Member role matrix and coarse Project access grants.
• connector deployment over outbound mTLS reverse transport, with host-key probing and confirmation.
• Browser assets: bind this browser via the MV3 extension and drive it through the browser.* MCP tools.
• Organization audit trail and on-demand Runner installation jobs.

Maintenance responsibility

Breaking changes during the 0.x stage are visible in the documentation that owns the affected contract and are summarized on the changelog page; there is no separate migration guide yet.
